The animals we care for at the APF always need food, attention, medicine, and a clean, safe place to stay while they wait for homes of their own. You can help make their stay here more comfortable by donating items from our Wish List. Your donations allow funds budgeted for these items to be used in other important ways.

Every dog deserves a soft, comfortable place to sleep while waiting to be adopted. You can help by donating a Kuranda dog bed by clicking below.

Wish List
Our kitties have one thing they'd really love: a soft, cozy bed for each and every feline. We're looking for round or square fleece beds like these.

We no longer have a need for donated DRY cat or dog food.
Through Hills Science Diet’s shelter program, we receive all the kibble we need.

As of May 2008 – thanks to recent generous donations, we are not in need of canned food at this time.
If you do have pet food you would like to donate to someone in need, contact the Schenectady Inner City Ministry (SICM), 839 Albany Street, Schenectady. Their phone number is 346-4445.
